how do you get to install from dosbox keeps saying this program can not be run in dos mode

You don't install it... just unpack (un-zip) it to the game folder and it runs from there i.e. the path once unpacked is Wizardry8 (whatever) - Wiz 8 Editor - w8edit.exe

I think he was talking about "Wizedit" which is a program for editing Wizardry 7/Gold. I do not think it does anything for Wizardry 8.
