I installed and patched Wizardry 7. However, every time I launch the English version of the game it starts a new windows screen and the playable area of the screen is roughly 1/5 or 1/4 the size of the screen, in the dead center. No matter which size I choose when I launch it, it still does this. Does anyone have a fix or similar problem?

yeah Wizardry gold will do that, just download and install the English Dos version of Wiz 7 which for some stupid reason is in the extras and you can play it in a decent screen size plus the DOS version has less issues as well as not having broken diplomacy like Gold does.
