Allright, so I spent about 4 hours rolling some pretty decent characters, and the game started off really well. I'm a fan of the old school/dungeon crawl type games. I was very patient with my lockpicking, noticing that it even goes up when you fail. So pick, save, repeat. Except when a door jams, then quit - no save, then reload save game. But now, whenever a door jams, it remains jammed, even if I quit the game (no save) and reload saved game, the door is still jammed. I'm to the point now where almost every doors in the castle is jammed, and no way to get enough keys to unlock them all. This game is now broken and unplayable. Am I supposed to quit - no save and exit out of the game entirely to go back and try to pick the door again? That seems like a lot of trouble considering the amount of times it would have to be done. Is anyone else having this problem? I really wanted to play Wiz 6 - 7 - 8 in order with the same characters, but now it just seems like I wasted my money. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

I ran into the same thing with my game

the knock knock spell will still open locked door it may take a while but I was able to get them all open if you don't have anyone that can cast arcane spells you can still get scroll of the merchant on the lower level
You should have waited until your thief's lockpicking skill was higher; when the tumblers are more green than red.
But the game is not broken just because you jammed lots of (unimportant in order to finish the game) doors. Some monsters will still drop keys, and the Knock spell will open jammed doors if powerful enough.
