I have been following a walkthrough for wizardry 7 and I am at the part where I go to the rattkin ruins. I'm supposed to go to the smiling tree outside of the rattkin ruins. According to the walkthrough I am supposed to be thrown over the wall once I reach the smiling tree but instead nothing happens. I found a video of the smiling tree and getting thrown over the wall on youtube so I am sure I am in the correct spot.

I'm thinking somewhere along the lines I missed some critical item or quest and that is the trigger for getting thrown over the well. I've been playing this game since last may and took a break for a few months so I might have skipped something by accident but I can't figure it out.

I put a lot of time into this game so I was hoping somebody had some suggestions so I could finish it! Thanks!

Hey Thanks! That is exactly what I needed to do! I was there a few months ago and couldn't beat all three battles with the trees so I moved on and forgot about it!
