The topic title pretty much says it all. Now, I realize that pretty much any party can beat the game, but I was wondering which one party make-up, if any, are considered the easiest to beat the game with?

The real reason I asked is because I am the WORLD'S WORST when it comes to party customization like this! Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance!
I haven't actually played Wizardry 6 (though I have watched part of the game being played), but I can mention a couple things about class balance:

1. Valkyries are really good. They actually level up faster than Priests, while being able to use most Fighter equipment.

2. Rangers are not. They level up slowly and their equipment selection in Wizardry 6 is extremely limited. Plus, I believe you do have to worry about ammo when using bows, and Rangers don't get many good alternatives (in particular, putting them in the front rank is not a viable option due to the fact that they can't wear much armor.)

So, seriously consider putting a Valkyrie in your party. However, do not include a Ranger in your party, as that class is just lousy in 6.
I've only played the game once, but I did complete it and here's my opinion of my party's classes after I finished:
(I only had single-classed characters who did not switch classes):

Valkyrie: good
Samurai: OK class, not as good as Valk though.
Ninja: lame, always behind in everything
Priest: good, not as good as Mage.
Mage: excellent
Bard: Mostly lame, needed for skullduggery (locks & traps). Sleep at start is useful, but not critical.

As you can see, some of my choices were suboptimal, but I still got through the game without any problems.

The key to success is to change class as many times as possible, so as to make characters with high HP, MP and can cast all kinds of magic.

You can refer to this: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/564807-wizardry-vi-bane-of-the-cosmic-forge/faqs/63361

Know that Wizardry 6 can be an extremely easy game if all you characters learn the art of ninjuts (stealth) and spellcasting.

A hidden magic caster is totally invincable execpt for one or two battles. There is no way for the enemies to harm a hidden character. And that character will in no way be found if he or she just keeps casting magic without attacking the enemies with physical attacks.

By the way, although it is unlikely that you know Chinese, but just in case you or anyone reading this thread knows Chinese, below I will provide you with links of my walkthrough. I am a Chinese, and I wrote this in Chinese. It is an extreme detailed walkthrough covering all expects of the game. It has benefited many Chinese people.
