There are only a handful of "good" Rapax (assuming that you didn't complete Al-Sedexus's quest):

Arnika: Antone Rapax: He sells you mid game items (I believe that he is allied with the Higardi).

Rapax Away Camp: Rapax Queen: She is Friendly to the party, after you unlock her cage, though she never leaves (unlike Rafe).

Rapax Rift: Rafe will leave his cage, once you complete his quest, unlike the Rapax Queen. Also, 3 generic Rapax prisoners.

Rapax Castle Main Level: Ferro (best vendor in the game), and Al-Adryian (gives you the quest to please Al-Sedexus, and is always Friendly afterwards). Sexus is a Rapax RPC that is hostile if you lose Rapax faction rating).

Rapax Castle Basement: The drunken Rapax Constable, and several Drunk Rapax, are Friendly. The Rapax Jailor, and a few other Rapax, are Hostile.

Therefore, it's good to please Al-Sedexus, then kill her before she can summon reinforcements (thus keeping your Friendly rating with the Rapax Common and Rapax Templar).

Alternatively, kill her *first* (before initiating that initial conversation), then please her.
I'm playing normally here. She is Friendly to the party before first approaching her.
Just on a sidenote: Al-Adryian moves from the entry point to the room with the teleport, right after the initiation.
This is not important at all, but somehow this might happen:

When you are unfriendly with Rapax and Rapax Templars, you might trigger combat with Al-Adryian if you move too quickly from the initiation room, and the Rapax bard, who would still be hostile towards you, because the faction relation changes one after another and the game is not paused. Al-Adryian can be caught in the battle eventually.
Basically, if you were hostile towards Rapax faction, do not speed out from the initiation room, not before all affiliations are fully updated.

Generally, despite having more NPC or RPC alive and in friend zone (green), Rapax are a race defined by their cruelty, what is well portrayed in their food storage cellar. Even Ferror gives you his storage key after you give him pickled trynnie.
Having non-friendly feelings towards them would be in most cases normal (not only due their alliance with dark savant)

On an yet another sidenote: make a teleport just next to Ferro, as I have experienced few times, that Ferro can be also caught in a fierce battle and be killed, when you travel towards him in a traditional way (on foot), and unless you have a save ways to eliminate Rapax enemies who are literally behind a corner (or two corners), chances of one Ferro against many Rapax, who will target him if they are near enough, are low.
Unless you dislike strife, and will keep good relations with all Rapax even after killing Al-Sedexus (which shall impact negatively only Rapax Templars, but not Rapax, so the patrols in the lower castle should technically remain friendly towards you, and Ferro will remain safe)

Sometimes, when I do play 'berserk' style, fueled by the visions of pickled trynnie, I go against all Rapax, even the friendly queen, who is so chatty after being rescued, with one singular goal: everything is XP & Lood and I want it.

Also on the fight with Al-Sedexus, I usually let her summon guardians, as they are comparably weak, but give extra XP and random low-tier loot. (while at that stage of the game, I sometimes already have enough shekels, especially as the super expensive stuff like infinity helm cannot we used by everyone, so without a goal to hoard gold, I tend to left items untouched where they got dropped. Just right clicking them to increase Artifacts. )

I was sometimes wondering the the daughter of Al-Sedexus could be ever saved, but I suppose not, as there is no mention about it anywhere, so that option was obviously never on the table.
I have positive feelings towards friendly creatures, and I intend to keep it that way.

Brotherhood of the Ascension and Higardi factions, best to keep the Humans alive. The Mook are holed up in Arnika, in their building. They are peaceful, best not to kill them, best to fool these nerds instead (trading their Chaos Moliri for a fake Astral Dominae is best, rather than killing them).

The Trynnie are native to Dominus, and wish for me to exterminate the Rattkin threat. Therefore, whack Rattus Rattus (he sets you up for a bank robbery), Milano Calzone, and Don Barlone, exterminating the Rattkin Razuka faction. Also, the Rattkin Breeders, and the other Rattkin thugs hanging around on the Sixth Bough.

The Umpani and T'Rang control their own areas; I won't interfere.

As said before, only the "good" Rapax survive the party.

That's *precisely* the situation that Freeze Flesh (not Freeze All!) and Psionic Blast are good for.
If the pickled Trynnie indicates some abominable cruelty of the Rapax,
what about a species which has enslaved the vast majority of multiple species on its planet, to slaughter them in an industrial process.
In some regions this self proclaimed homo (not so) sapiens even organizes eating competitions
where the slaves are senselessly devoured in large quantities in order to excrete them mostly undigested.

If someone tells me that these species have no conscience or so,
i say the perpetrator cannot be allowed to create the definition that justifies his crimes.
Better ask the slaves, i.e. let their behaviour speak as kind of their "language".

btw Al-Sedex: It takes a "certain" state of mind to voluntarily f*** a demon

I *still* haven't done this quest after all these years.

If/when I ever do that quest, the first time I do it I want the character I choose to be a Valkyrie. (This, of course, puts constraints on party construction, though with almost no mechanical drawbacks.)

Having similar thoughts and feelings, was the reason I fell in love with the concept from Albion (1995), where aboriginal race (Iskai) of said planet lived in deep symbiosis with their surrounding, the planet overall.
They shaped flora / fungi to create houses, same fungi were specialized to work as eternal septic (toilets or other types of waste water), hunted only when in full conjunction with wild spirits (making sure no single species, even the most predatory like, never goes extinct)
They knew the concept of mining and harvesting, but mining was nearly totally prohibited, as it would disturb the peace of nature (and gods), and harvesting was limited while also restricted to controlled areas with a solid plan of re-forestation.

Their only dirty quirk was an ability to force ones' soul (and mind with memories) into younger individual, basically eradicating the host, but that was very seldom and always overseen by elders to avoid abuse. But that would be a different story.

Basically, they would never force whales into extinctions just to use their fat for city lamps. Or rhinos for their horns etc. Not even trying to touch Gaza genocide.

The ritual requires a male character (and probably the strongest, as once I tried to offer Myles, but she rejected him)

Actually, unless you're playing the unpatched original, if you have only female party members, the game will let you use one.

Also, the game will not let you use an RPC, if your only male characters are RPCs, you need to dismiss them temporarily to do the quest.

(One other thing: Please don't bring up real-world international politics here, particularly when it comes to a highly polaried international conflict. In fact, I'm pretty sure such topics are against the rules here.)
Despite the game's direction, it's actually better to do it in "reverse order":

Force your way into the Rapax Away Camp. Slaughter all Rapax, including the Rapax King and Stockade Guard (both drop important keys), while the Rapax Prince teleports away (we will deal with him later).

Open the Rapax Queen's cage, talk to her, grab whatever items are there (she never leaves, probably because she has nowhere left to go).

Free Rodan and Drazic from their cages, portal them to their leaders, complete the Alliance Quest.

Now, all Rapax are hostile to the party (both Rapax Common and Rapax Templar). Fight your way through the Rapax Rift (making sure to farm Staves of Doom from Rapax Corpses, for your casters), Rapax Courtyard, and Rapax Castle Main Level.

Complete Al-Sedexus's quest, then go kill her in her lair in the Rapax Rift (try to disable her in Round 1, so she doesn't summon reinforcements, and so that you keep your Friendly faction rating with the Rapax Common and Rapax Templar).

When facing off against the Rapax Prince and your illegitimate daughter with Al-Sedexus on AP, kill them all with instant death magic (they are low level). This will keep your Friendly faction rating with the Rapax, allowing you to trade with Ferro without interruption.
