I'm playing wizardry 6, and I think I fu cked myself. I just fought the serpent I beat him but he left me with 4 ppl poisoned I cant rest or they will die I cannot cure the poison... am I screwed????????

Been there, done that, but only with one character.
IIRC you have to navigate a pretty hairy neighbourhood before you are back in the "civilized" part of the castle.
So I think you're screwed, frankly. IIRC you can use the Ankh of life to bring a character back to life, but it will not cure the poison, so that is not an option, either.
Been a while since I played it, so I may be to pessimistic.

If all else fails you can probably use the Cosmic Forge editor to edit your save game.

Hey thanks for responding, I think I'm just going to re roll. Really though the real reason I'm screwed is because there is only 1 save file. I heard tell of being able to back up manually your save files, how do you do this?

That's why I didn't suggest you use an earlier save.

You need to locate the SAVEGAME.DBS and copy it. Its probably in the main Wiz 6 directory.
