I feel like I should be casting the secret doors spell at all times in Wiz 8. When is the optimum time to use this spell?

What secret door spell in W8? Never heard of it.

It's called detect secrets.

I can think of one quest in particular when this spell is very useful.

I don't know how far into the game you are and I don't want to spoil it for you by telling you exactly at what point it becomes useful, as part of the fun of this game is trying the Detect Secrets spell out and seeing what secret comes to light.

I think the best thing I can tell you is listen to what your party say when you use the spell.

Light is the spell which reveals secret doors in wiz8 (excet my few "really" hidden ones in 1.2 ;)
Because dynamic objects are illuminated different as terrain.
e.g. compare the secret door in the rapax throne room with light spell in/active.


Regarding the spell Detext Secrets, cast it whenever possible,
mainly because it will increase magic skills,
therefore rise the power/effectivity of offensive spells Terror, Hex and Concussion
