Well, I love the one-click mods a lot, I am playing Belzebub, London... is fantastic feature.
So for Wizardry (probably especially W8), if the mods would be also added to GOG (at least some major ones of those) would be fine.
Same with Cosmic Forge - despite I don't always use Cosmic Forge, sometimes, when playing a real long-run, I try to speed up projectile animation speed + use speed patch (also there is kind of well wrapped speed mod on nexus)
The previous mod I played - Dodd the Slayer - it required several files to be downloaded and then re-copied over each other in specific order, which for me as Linux user also entails checking upper-case variations, so the mod will actually work properly.
Having it as one-click mode would be simply fabulous & genius. Not to mention the time spent looking for the files & reading through read.me files.
Well, all mods from one-click mods are basically owned by non-original devs, and of course, their consent is needed. But usually most mod creators are not unhappy about being added to GoG this way. Although they might not get monetary rewards directly, at least GoG offers an option upon every one-click mod installation to donate to mod devs to support them, so there is an possibility of some extra cash.
Of course, some games are played more than others, and maybe GOG team, watching the usage statistics, won't bother initiating any dialogues with modders of underdog games.
HOMM 5 has some cool mods, and GOG has not yet added it to one-click mods, despite HOMM 5 has not the thinnest player base. Same for Disciples 2 (although not all mods are hugely game altering, which is I assume, the preference of GOG team to pick them. But the 2 mods I played recently on W8 are pretty much game altering, bringing loads of new content as for areas, so for enemies)
Said that, Cosmic Forge by itself is probably not a real mod per se. More like an editing tool, that enables making mods and other changes. Which is I won't hold my breath waiting for Cosmic Forge to be added to one-click mods. Even if it would be nice having an options for Galaxy (or any other GOG supporting platform) to optionally add Cosmic Forge during installation or as "DLC" or such. (addition / mod tools, whatever)
