I almost always play games vanilla as intended. I played Wizardry 8 years and years ago (on the original discs) and remember mostly enjoying it, except for one thing - the long drawn-out combat. So now that I have it on GoG, the one mod I'd for sure like to use is Wizfast to speed up combat. Soooo Im a complete newcomer when it comes to mods.
I know you download it, then extract it to.. somewhere.? Where exactly do I extract? And uhh, what steps, if any, are after that? Thanks in advance. The mods I found are on Snafaru's page.

wiz8fast.exe goes into the games main folder, run the prog before the game and set monster movement to desired speed.
Do not touch the related slider later in the game options at all, else it will reset to the cap and you will have to run wiz8fast again.
