So I finally found just the regular dos version but now I am having a problem everytime I try to load a game it asks me to go find a word on a designated page in the manual. Well the manualis all digital so I have to alt tab out which puts me in windowed mode which limits what I can see on the screen. Has anyone found a way to get around this without printing out the entrie manual just to be able to look up the required word?
can you jot it down on actual paper with the help of a pen... I know thats old school

I don't know what it is going to ask for before it does so it might say go to page 52 and find the 5th word in the 4th paragraph. It is an old school method games used to try and stop piracy it was no big deal as they all came with a printed manual but with this version the manual is on my drive so I have to minimize the game to look it up which puts the game into window mode. I was hoping there was a patch that got rid of that feature.
The DOSBOX version (Wizardry 7 Gold) available on GOG doesn't have that security check.

Yes apparently if you just hit enter it moves past it and will load or start a game. Of course I only found this out after I used up a good portion of printer paper. Oh well thanks for the reply.
