Clocked this game as a kid. Loved it. Here was how I made an awesome party and had no troubles in the later game.

1. Faerie Ninja.

Done. Thats it. Single person party. The start of the game is HARD like this, but it didn't really need any grinding. Just persevere and after a short time you will outlevel the world very quickly (you are getting 6 people worth of XP).

Anyone else have any interesting parties that they found broke the game?

Nice party ;-). How old were you when playing the game, did you play the normal or the gold version and what help did you get solving the riddles ?

I was pretty young when I started. Only played the DOS version. Me and a mate both had parties and saves. We restarted numerous times and got stuck for months in some places. We'd finished the game properly with a normal party at some point. Can't remember what got us doing the solo ninja thing. This was all pre internet. I'm 31 now and wed have got there before I was 15 I'd say. Many many years on this game. We kept coming back to it until the we broke it. One of us would solve a part and wed pool what we knew.
