Hey all,

I'm about to start Wiz 7 - transferring my finished game from Bane. Trying to choose between Gold and the original DOS version.

Two questions - is anyone sure that Gold characters transfer to Wiz 8? And is this Wiz Gold diplomacy bug that bad?

Also the artwork for Gold is horrendous, and the voice acting atrocious.

Yeah, I was just a fan of the automap feature. i guess I'll see what mods/workarounds are available and which is easer to do - add an automap to the DOS version, or fix diplomacy for Gold.

The killer would've been if I couldn't import my save to Wiz 8.

Those anime portraits are horrible though.
