I mean yeah she can equip it but in battle it just shows up as parry instead of fight what the heck? Her spear works though.

This is in Wizardry 6 btw

Maybe you have you selected it as secondary weapon instead of primary.

I suspect she isn't in the front row and can only attack with polearms or ranged weapons.

Yeah thanks the way rows work in this game confused me I though everyone on the left was the front and the right the back row.
