Fizzlebeef: I'm in the middle of the first dungeon and just realized I should have a ranger in my party.
Is there any way I can swap one of my party members for a new one?
You failed to mention the game.
Wizardry 1-5 (4 excluded): There is no Ranger class. You can create new characters in town, however, and change your party there.
Wizardry 4: You don't create a party in this game, so the question doesn't apply here.
Wizardry 6-7: Unfortunately, there is no way to replace a character in these games.
Wizardry 8: You actually can replace a character here. To do so, I believe you need to go to the character's inventory, click on the character's name (IIRC) to reach the screen where you can change name, portrait, and voice, and then click on the "Replace Character" icon in one of the corners.
