Out of the frustration of not being able to play the game, I figured a steam group to coordinate things a bit would help out. Hopefully this will make it easier for us to play together and provide some more feedback and bug reports.

On the topic of Steam, for those of us launching the game via Steam who want a pretty grid image, here is one I just whipped up quickly.

(I also think this is my first ever post on the GOG forums)

Oh and to ensure the game launches correctly via Steam (to allow updates and such), copy the entire target field from your desktop shortcut the game creates and replace the Steam shortcuts target field with it.

I assume that attachment was meant for me to use on the group's icon, but unfortunately the way steam re-sizes icons makes it quite hard. I have tried cropping off the sides and resizing it, but I cannot get the full text to show up on the icon. If you want to give it a shot let me know.

Actually it was for setting a custom image in Steam's grid view for those of us launching it via Steam (by adding it as a non Steam game), otherwise you just get a big grey box with a tiny icon in the middle when using grid view,

I've never made an image for a Steam group before but if I can find out what dimensions it uses I can probably get something made fairly quickly, I'll edit this post with an attachment once it's done.

EDIT: Try out the attached image, its just one I found on Google and cropped it in such a way that Steam should resize it fine, if it doesn't, let me know and I'll upload a already cropped version.

It looks better than the ones I tried. The small icon is hard to read, but the other 2 sizes look good. Not much we can do about the small icon though. Thanks for your effort on this.

No problem happy to help, the last few games I tried to play with a mate ended up bugging out between turns sadly, been fun so far though.

Hopefully we can get a few games going at some point, timezones allowing haha.

Thanks for your work, but those wide icons do not work. When steam gets done with it all you see is "ITCHE".

As for the name, I made the group after my first game. Before I noticed the name mistake we had 20 members in the group.

Yeah, the icon is for the library grid view.

I was just trying to figure out if the group was for a tabletop edition of the game only, or what, and didn't remember you can't rename groups. I guess asking 32 people to migrate to a new group is not too bad but still a bit of a pain.
