What was the winning condition for Yarpen in the attached game screenshot? Anyone can tell me? :)

When VP is tied just add the proofs and coins together. 1st had 5 and 2nd had 4.

Is it the game rule or just your personal thoughts?

There are some ideas that just the greater number of coins (leads excluded) gave win.

That has been my personal experience, I don't think rules like this are listed anywhere.
