Dear fellow GOG users,

I suspect that there is a problem with the match making. So in order to confirm that, it would be very great if everyone was to post here when they are waiting for more than a few minutes (say, 5) in the "Matchmaking" screen, where it is written "Waiting for other people to join the game..."; so we can see when two or more people are attempting to create a game at the same time, and failing.

I was waiting for 5-10mins multiple times yesterday. Pretty sure there are some connection issues with the matchmaking. I have only been able to play one game so far. Getting pretty frustrated at the issue, but I have no idea what is causing it.

I also waited quite some time yesterday. Due to the automatic merging of subsequent self-replies to the original post, I have not been able to report that, tho.

I've noticed that sometimes, canceling the "waiting" process and asking for a new matchmaking works.

Right now, I'm waiting. (EDIT: And I have been, for half an hour)

Me too, just chilling out in a lobby while watching some youtube. Seems like there is 1 guy that is afk and I always end up in his lobby. Also for some reason when a 3rd or 4th person joins the start game button vanishes.

edit: Well it is either the afk guy or just me alone in a new lobby for 10mins+. Gonna try again tomorrow I guess.

As I already wrote in another thread on this forum, there might be some problems with matchmaking when someone creates a lobby and takes focus away from the game's window on Windows, e.g. switches to another program or locks the screen. This is caused by a bug in Unity that the game is based on that prevents it from using GOG's library as designed.

Currently we are working on a work around for this issue. As for now, please do not switch to other applications during matchmaking on Windows.
