Where is the Linux client for this game? I tried to make sure this account is Linux only as I have no other OS in this den. Even my phones run linux(android). So how did gog.com know I wanted to beta test the linux client?

This beta has no official Linux client.

Oh darn. Any way to configure my account to only display linux games so I don't get this type of unless gift in the future?

You can browse games by system http://www.gog.com/games##system_linux=ubuntu,mint
But you will still receive all news etc.
