I would also like to see if there could be a trade system in play, this way those that are behind can team up to slow down the person in first place.

As long as there are limits to how much and/or how often one could trade to prevent people from purposefully screwing over others for fun. Or maybe it could be that the person with the most VP can't trade, only those behind.

Why would you want this?

Mainly for the quest card, to see the details instead of just a summary. The Good Fortune cards too. When I played my first game I wanted to see what everything did, but all the cards are too small to see. Plus it'd give you something to do while waiting for your opponents to decide.

Maybe it's just that I'm a CCG fanatic and love reading cards :P
Hello everyone - as quite a lot of the feedback in this thread is gameplay related, I'd recommend posting it in CDP RED The Witcher Adventure Games forums (http://forums.cdprojektred.com/forums/118-The-Witcher-Adventure-Game-Beta), as they were created specifically for gathering the beta gameplay feedback and I've also seen there game devs commenting on some of the suggestions :).

Having that said, we will of course make sure that your posts here will also reach the game creators :)
I was able to connect to someone and finish a game.

I have some suggestions, some are gameplay related and some are simple UI stuff:
- the game needs some more information about players and network connection , in my first game nothing was happening and I didn't know, If I was still connected to the game or not.
- an event log, like darthyip wrote. It's IMO essential for these types of games.
- a way to view your own cards and your own stats, so that you can plan ahead of time (when it's not your turn)
- a windowed mode
- some tooltips with some basic information
- a give up button, so that a player can give up, when it's clear that he lost.
- a timer, no one needs 10 minutes for one single turn.
- a lobby browser would be nice too, but It's not essential.

I might post the gameplay related stuff in the other forum later, if necessary.

Oops, I didn't even think of going to CDP RED's forums. I guess I'm just so GOG focused :P I'll keep the first post here updated for convenience, but everyone should probably follow Destro's suggestion and post gameplay related stuff on CDP RED's forum.

soavio: - a windowed mode
Alt-Enter seemed to work for me. Though it looks locked to your current screen resolution. I'm sure a full on settings screen will make its way in.

Not sure about Windows build, but on OSX if you hold ALT just after clicking PLAY in game launcher, you will be presented with options to switch resolutions and turn windowed mode on/off among others. Im 90% sure it's the same on Windows

But wouldn't knowing your opponents' cards be like cheating?

It makes sense to view other player's cards in most cases. Maybe some cards would be hidden.
E.g. in Talisman, it's possible to browse other player's cards (inventory and followers etc.). Only spell cards are hidden.
Requests:
Less tense music when you read tutorial. That sound track in menu is EPIC btw.
More info about where to click if you want to do something.
Voice chat.
More thing to do when it is not your turn. Read enemy cards e.g.
Option to randomize characters instead of lucky one choose.

1 bug: map tend to scrolled back to center when you try to travel far north. it's very hard to press ok on it.

I have won my first match. Learning curve is fast, but gameplay is slow yet.
