And when I started the game, I felt like a giant n00b. I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Although I paid attention to the minimalist tutorial, once in game I was speechless.

Is there some kind of guide made?

Thanks
Gilou
I haven't gotten in game yet but I enjoy just jumping in and getting my ass kicked learning how to play. It's just my style of learning. I do read the basic rules but any advanced stuff I learn on the fly. It's fun.

It is a valid technique; but with human players I don't like doing that
True enough. It's hard enough getting into a stable game at the moment. Keep getting d/c during the first turn on some other player's round.

I think peeps are impatient.
After 4~5 failed attempts of logging into games I finally got to play one past the first 3 rounds, only to have the other players get dropped on me. I kid you not playing the game alone actually made it more enjoyable as I learnt what I was doing.
I've played about 5-6 games now and i think i got the gist. I'm already able to develop tactics and know how to play with each character - they are very very different.

Playing solo really helps, sadly you cannot start a solo game - they should add that!
don't hate yourself for being noob, everybody was a noob at one point or another and some are still quite nooby to this day (at video games). though people refrain from admitting they are noob because they need to preserve their self-esteem to prevent a loss of motivation from continue to try to become better at video games.
