Ugh, I've now tried to download WC4 in 3 different browsers, IE9, Firefox and Google Chrome, and all 3 say the setup file for WC4 is corrupt.

I have Windows 7 64 bit.

Gog.com, this is NOT good enough.
Wow! I managed to download the Gog downloader, and now WC4 is downloading as I type! Download's a bit on the big side, nearly 6 and half Gig, but if I leave the PC on over night it'll finish by morning.
Since this thread mentions the fact that WC4 is a big download, I thought I'd try to satisfy my curiosity. I only had WC back in the day, but I've just bought WC3 and WC4 and they are really enormous for games of the time! For anyone who bought them on release, how many discs did these run to? Or were they both CD-only releases?

WC3 was 3 CDs I believe. I don't remember how many discs WC4 used, but I think it's 4 on PS1. The version on GoG is a modified version of the DVD release so they could have the best quality video available.
I had the original CD version on PC of WC4 and it was 6 discs.

lol the case was VERY big.
