Hi guys,

I installed and played this for several hours last night. I was lost in the game for ages, killing kilrathi left and right, getting stuck on the mission with the "Skipper" missiles yet again, and handing the upstart Flash his ass in the simulator. Every mission or two I would save, until there were maybe 6 save game files present. Then I went to bed.

Today, when I launch the game and skip the intro cut scenes, log in to the duty logs, there's only one save game file. The first one. Saved before I flew the first mission.

I can see in the C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Wing Commander 3 directory there are 5 .WSG files with incrementing numbers, and then a "WSG_NDX.WSG" file, but the game doesn't seem to see them.

Any ideas? a) how can I get my games back, or b) how can i make sure they save properly when I restart?

cheers,
Andrew

I don't know what the problem is, so you might want to contact support about it.

There is something that you can try though, if you install Wing Commander, don't install it in the %:\Program Files% folder.
