My logitech standart joystick works perfectly fine with this game, and every other game i tried. it costs about 40€. but before buying a new, you should look into your joystick driver, maybe there is something set wrong

Hi,

If your joystick goes haywire try setting timed to false in the joystick section of the config file (dosboxWC3.cfg in your WC3 directory) - it might work - it greatly reduces sensitivity and brings it down to a level I was used to on my old Pentium with a gamecard (values: 0-127 or sth like that instead of 0-300+)

joysticktype=auto
timed=false
autofire=false
swap34=false
buttonwrap=true

hope this helps...

(however, setting timed to false can be tricky in WC3, timed=true is definitely recommended)
