I visited all 3 nav points, went back to Tiger's Claw, then nothing.
Checked WC Bible, read section about landing, which says I may have to request landing.
"C" to communicate, 2 for Tiger's Claw, 1(?) to request permission to land, nothing.
"C" to communicate, 1 for Spirit, 2(?) to tell her to land, she refuses.
I tried at least 3 times, no luck.

How is this mission supposed to be finished?
Is there a specific place on the Tiger's Claw that I need to fly to?
Do I have to target the TC?
Lock on it?

Hello! In Wing Commander I you need to approach the Tiger's Claw head on in order to land. Position it so that it looks like the upper-left view in this picture: http://www.wcnews.com/ships/images/4views/wc1bengal4.gif
You need to approach the hangar deck manually once you got clearance to land.

It worked. Your explanation is very clear, especially the picture helped. Thanks a lot!!
No problem! Believe me, this has been a problem for people since the beginning of time. I've been answering this exact post since maybe the week after the game came out (on Compuserv, at the time!)

... luckily, Origin saw the light and dropped the 'only land from the front' part from the other games!
