Hey! I got the WC 4 running, and the mouse works in menus, but during game my mouse has no effect at all.
I am running the game on a HP mini netbook, using a Logitech wireless mouse. I tried disabling my trackpad, but it didn't seem to help.
It may not be relevant, but I do have wacom table software on the machine, but I don't think that would change anything if the tablet is not plugged in.

The game defaults to keyboard for whatever reason. You need to set your control preferences. In space flight, hit Alt+O and then choose mouse and then click save
You shouldn't have to do this again, though there's a bug where you will have to reset it on the planetary missions.
