I received a code for this game through Twitch Prime and I'm a big fan of digital card games, and especially city builders (not to mention cute animal characters).
This game is riddled with bugs, softlocked within an hour of playing, had extreme frame rate chugging issues at points, and has broken animations. At one point a quest UI screen appeared and instead of disappearing when clicked, it became burned into the screen at about 90% transparency for the remainder of my play. It feels like an early access game during an alpha playtest. This isn't me attempting to be mean, it's just the literal state of the game itself (at least during my playtime).
I think there is a solid foundation here and I'd love to explore it, but even if I put aside the game-breaking bugs, having no way to speed up my AI opponent's turns during the campaign is BRUTAL. I'd love to see this feature added.
This post may not be seen by the developers, but if so, is there any roadmap available for updates? Will this see support? The price tag on Steam is $24.99 and shows a release date of November 2024, so someone must have believed in it. Here's to hoping it gets a few more months of cooking.
