It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

New Ubuntu user here. Still adapting to a non-Windows 7 environment. Downloaded West of Loathing and Gun Manor DLC. Opened terminal in download folder. chmod +x for installer.sh file. Ran ./installer,sh. Got shortcut on desktop.

Shortcut does not work. Opened terminal from the install folder. Ran ./start.sh. Got:

support/gog_com.shlib: line 106: ./West of Loathing.x86_64: Permission denied

Checked start.sh file permissions. "Can View and Modify" enabled across the board. "Is executable" box is checked.

Now out of ideas. Running Ubuntu 24.04. Any suggestions?

***Got it fixed! If you have a similar problem, try to chmod +x the binary file. For a visual, see attached. The Gog installer isn't changing the binary to executable like it should.***

Thanks! As a complete Linux novice (Mint 22.1), this is the answer I needed. Had same problem, same game.
