after playing a while, i got a weird feeling. this game in this setup and this character... are all about the consequence of vilolance. the wellies are obvioisly a bit physco due to being kinda high, but do they deserve to die for resources?

the only option for a non lethal kill thus far is with simple punches, which are not very effective mano a mano. let alone when fighting groups, and silent takedowns which is also lacking when fighting group of angry people. now arthur comes off as quite intelligent but not murderus as the gamplay sorta make him. there are a lot weapons and ways to kill npc's, and not enough ways to neutralize them without killing them.

i mean sure that he also try to survive i a very hostile environemt, and the reason for them being kuku is the joy thay take in over to forget a really sinister thing apperantly, but does arthur can really live with all this blood on his hands? would it not make taking joy all the more apealing to him endgame?

also, are there any plans on adding more efficent and varied non lethal combat options? and is story will be affected by such choices to a certein degree?
good post.

Yes. Hoping to get started on that next week. The mythical "combat revamp" that we've wanted to do for a year.

The rough idea right now is that blunt weapons will be non-lethal, and spikey weapons will be lethal, but that could well change.

very nice to know! and also on personal notice, developer comments on developing and the dvelopment posts you realese are more than welcome. keep up the good work!
That'll be nice. I wanted to search someone because I thought they might have a quest item and had to kill them. But because the NPCs aren't anonymous fodder but each have an individual name killing them feels like it matters.
