Hi all,

This may not be necessary if the game works for the majority of people, but the second review on the gamecard suggests it has crashing issues whereas the original in DOSBox does not.

So I created this wishlist item for GOG to bring the DOS original. (It could be included as bonus content.) It may not be necessary if the game is actually working for the majority of people, here's the wish for you to vote or not vote:

This is the original for the most part.

I believe we included the original game files in the install along with our own DOSBox-integrated wrapper. You should be able to move some of these files and then launch it from DOSBox if you so desire.

That said, this version should not have any crashes the "raw" version does not, other than resolution issues that can be resolved with a simple wl.conf edit.
I followed the instructions and it was able to mount and launch in Dosbox. Thank you
GOG should fix this game even if it means just hosting the unpatched version for now. Wasteland is a classic and needs to be kept around.
