JudasIscariot: Wasteland 1 codes should be fixed now :) Please check your accounts :)
Checked and it is there. Thank you for the follow up.
Thanks to GOG for quick fix. I was on holiday and got back today to download Wasteland and enjoy my childhood memories! ;-)
Hmm... I bought the digital classic edition of Wasteland 2 and I just realized I haven't received Wasteland 1. I checked my emails and there is no redemption code or anything like that,I check GOG Galaxy library too.

I bought Wasteland 2 in June this year. Is there some place I'm missing or should I contact support.

I can sorta remember something about Bard's Tale too. Was that supposed to come free with the digital classic edtion of Wasteland 1 at that time?

For Wasteland: Go to Wasteland 2, choose "View Downloads", and then open the menu there and choose "Serial Keys".
Thank you!! It worked!!!

Just fyi to anyone else that needs to do it:

1. It only works in the browser. It doesn't show up in GOG Galaxy.
2. It is listed as "Wasteland 2 Digital Classic Edition Upgrade" but it activates Wasteland 1 on your account.

Cool, now I have Wasteland 1. :D
Unfortunately, when using the above steps under "serial keys" and the link provided, I get an error 404. I bought Wasteland 2 a while back and recently installed it. I had hoped to start with Wasteland 1 and go in chronological order but now it appears that link is dead. Any help please?
You need to get ahold of GOG support, right? There's nothing us gamers can do about bad links.

I know this post is quite old but since I had the very same problem I guess the issue is, at least for some people, still persistent. The link under "serial keys" wasn't working for me either, if you have the same problem,

what you have to do is: go to ''Redeem code" page (it is for example all the way at the bottom of the main page), then copy only the last part of the link you've found under above mentioned "serial keys" section (ie the letters and numbers behind the last " / "), click continue and lo and behold! Your free Wasteland 1 is claimed!

This is how I got it to work.
