I am sure I an not alone on this issue!

The rest.exe will not work on my 64 bit processor.

I enjoy the game,
and would like to be able to continue with my evolving characters beyond the current, exhausted map.

Does anyone know of any patches to update this feature?

Note: I have seen the post about mucking around with game1 and game2 files, but it comes to no positive results.
