Hello,
do i see it right, the Wasteland from Gog and Steam are Only Dosbox emulator Versions from the oldgame?
I found the original data´s at the Wasteland directory. And in the Wasteland.exe i found this text " Please use the latest version of DOSBox " at 1b6f50h

Not quite the case. InXile actually upped the version number with this release, and fixed a few old bugs which had plagued the original PC version until just this year.

We used DOSBox to make the game run on modern machines, but also did significant overhauls such as adding uprezzed portraits, in-game paragraph texts, music and a bunch of little tweaks and options.

Plus they added large bodies of text (with narration!) to the game that you normally had to look up in the manual. But yeah, it's all DOSBox.

This could of just been slapped together right away but you can tell Inxile knew the importance of re releasing this right to set up 2.
