I want to play the series and have the original and the sequel, but I didn't know if the original was a good buy for me.

The reviews of the remake aren't very good. So I'm asking if I should get the remake or not.

My specs.

-PC: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz, 16GB DDR3 Ram, GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB,2 TB hard drive, 500 GB hard drive, Supermulti DVD Burner, Wireless Lan 802.11 b/g/n, Beats audio Studio Quality sound, Win 10.
The remake is worth buying. Not sure why it has bad reviews, I haven't found any major bugs in it. It's a faithful adaptation of Wasteland for modern systems.

Maybe people were expecting 2.5d like WL 2/3. idk.

If your specs meet minimum requirements, get it.
I don't have it, but from what I read, people are giving this a low rating not because it doesn't resemble the later installments, but because it plays worse than the original in terms of navigating the interface. The bugs too of course.

Sounds pretty bad to me. Lucky you if you didn't notice any.

So what is the current state of Wasteland Remastered?

From what I've read "The Bard's Tale Trilogy" took a while to get all the bugs fixed, but it was finally patched and runs well now.

Is this also the case for Wasteland Remastered, have the known bugs all been patched or is there anything I should look out for?
As of the last time I heard:
+: Macros (from the DOS version of the game) have been implemented (they weren't at release)
-: No New Game +. (The original DOS version came with a set-up program that allowed New Game +. You would keep your characters, but lose your items and the world would be reset.)

Thank you for the information.
