It's well known that Steam is going to be required to apply "Day 0" patching to physical versions of the game. (Barring the "DRM-free" copies that will be mailed later to those, like me, that requested it.)

I'm assuming the digital versions will already be patched, but can anyone confirm version numbers we should be on the lookout for, since here on GOG we don't have Steam's auto-update?

Hopefully sear can chime in here.

GOG.com's version is equivalent to the one we're putting up on Steam. Since GOG never ran early access this is the first build they're putting on their servers, so no patching required for now!
ok. How will future patches/updates for Wasteland 2 be distributed for GOG.com? Do we download them elsewhere, or are they handled by/within the game itself?

Future patches will go to GOG.com and work as patches usually do on GOG.com!

Thank you for the info and your interaction with the consumers :) I really hope the updating will be much easier for this game. Also a gog update only installer will be much appreciated (I know it's up to gog to implement these things but still).
