I guess than more tan the tracks the problem resides in the wrapper winmm.dll that is used for emulate the cd audio from the hard disk. Similar inconsistencies exist in other titles that use that solution, like Imperialism etc

I've edited tracks, fixed them. You can download and change music files in Warlords 3 folder. But these are transcoded files (ogg to wav to ogg). Hope to see normal CD rip some day. BTW if anyone have CD with CD tracks, rip them in FLAC please. I can't find them flacs anywhere.

I think personally I can live with that minor flaw...
I also can always go back to my Win XP and use the original disk and play the game just like the old days.
Hey! Ihave tried the new edited tracks and they appear to have fixed it. Good work.

So, the original problem is a poor/lazy converted soundtrack

Fantastic job Oleg.

Dear Oleg,

The file is no longer there. Could you please reupload?

Thanks a bunch for that. The glitch was really hard on the ears. GoG should incorporate your fix into their version.

Hey Oleg, and anyone else who's interested a couple of years later: I've tracked down a CD of Darklords Rising, and made both FLAC and q10 ogg tracks of the soundtrack. Cheers!
