I press play in GOG menu, and nothing happens. Play button dissapears, then appears again shortly.

Did i pay for a game version i could easily download other places for free just to get the same message of a game not working !??!?

Try this
1. Don’t use GOG Galaxy
2. Change your screen resolution.
If that doesn’t work, Uninstall, turn off your antivirus, Reinstall. Follow 1 & 2 Then you can turn on your antivirus again. Good Luck!

DIdnt work sadly, i keep getting the same error on gamestart : App unable to start (0xc0000000022)

Report it to GOG. I use Alienware WIN10 and didn’t have any problems. A lot of people fix it by switching to lower resolution eg 800

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022) The absence of, or a corrupted Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package can cause this issue. So you should install it if you do not have it already. If you already have it in your system, follow these steps to repair it.

I was having issues with the game crashing on me. But somebody recommended starting the game itself, from my PC and not using the GOG Galaxy app. I created a shortcut to start the game on my desktop and haven't had an issue since. I didn't change my screen resolution or anything else, just start the game without GOG and my crash issues are gone.
