So I installed the game, and everything is fine until a want to play because it crashes whenever a map would load. Is it an issue only for me or does this happen to others as well?

It's likely the resolution you're using or you don't have direct play installed.

If it is your resolution just make sure that you've selected a resolution in options that fits your screen. I think the last two options in particular often are larger in one dimension than some modern monitors.

If you're using windows 8 or 10 then you might not have direct play installed in which case it will crash in game.
