I love WBC2 (somehow never got nearly as into 1 or 3), and every few years I come back to the game, play through the campaign a few times, and relive the joy of how much I used to enjoy this game.

Problem is, some of the things that help me do this become more and more absent on the internet (or at least very difficult to find).

So if anyone has, and/or is willing to share, I am looking for treasure/xp maps to quickly and easily build up a hero, or pre-built, massively powerful heroes who can be added into the game and used. Though preferably the maps. While they are somewhat cheating, you still have to put in the effort and time to run through a hundred or more map runs to build a fairly powerful hero.

Anyone still have these, and willing to share? Or know of a web site that still exists which has them?

Thanks for any help.
Guess these are gone for good, then. Sigh.

I used to have some back in the day but couldnt trace them now, must have lost them throughout the years and file transfer.
However i still remember how we farmed xp and loot in multiplayer back then: make a battle of titans with all enemies playing dark dwarves, so that they get the Grond titan (melee and slow), while u play with barbarian's tempest iirc (who is fast, ranged and flying!).
U can also choose the map type with lakes (lakelands i think?) so that u can park ur flying titan above the lake and shoot at the enemy while being unreachable. This also works by parking him over trees or other obstacles/unpassable terrain.
Make sure to have ur hero around to grab the fallen enemy heroes' items.

Actually its not hard at all to create your own loot/xp map, there is even a youtube video tutorial explaining how (at youtube.com/watch?v=f5tIDEXZEGQ).

However, while this works for looting items, in order to actually get more than 2-3 xp, the game has to last at least 5 minutes.

In order to do this, once u've set the heroes as per the video, u must also prevent the game from ending in victory once the enemy heroes are dead, by adding at least one unit owned by an enemy side, and making sure it doesnt die by accident (which can be done by hiding it in another corner of the map).

Then you must create an event: Victory with condition: no condition (timer) and a value of 300 (seconds, therefore 5 minutes).

After that u only need to wait for the game to end (once u've looted the fallen heroes' chests) to also get xp, or u can manually send ur hero or a unit to that corner where the added enemy unit is hidden, so as to kill it and instantly trigger ur victory, in case u only want the loot and not the xp as well.

If this sounds too complicated, ask me and i will provide additional instructions or my own xp map if u prefer it.
Long time ago I discovered a glitch that allows to bump your hero in any lvl in one battle. I tested it on 1.03 and 1.04 patch so go ahead.

I recommend to not use your favourite hero, create a new one (it can be the same race), because it has big disadvantage - you hero would not have bumped XP (and perhaps you can't gain any new XP)

1. Create a new hero.
2. Play skirmish on any map, pick your newly created hero.
3. Go to battle options and check "play with temporary hero" (I don't know how it really is called in english, because I play with my native language), set any lvl you want (you can pick 50)
4. Start a battle, create a hero with the same race as the new one, give it to him the same name (important), set profession and skills as you want
5. You have to gain any item to your inventory - you can find a chest or kill enemy hero
6. Win the battle

You can glance at screen I shared and notice that my hero is 50lvl, only 1 battle, 0 wins and 0 XP (and obviously there is no XP demanded for new lvl because 50 is max). I made it for this post purposes :)

Have fun!
