If you've played Halo Wars or BFME II on Xbox 360 like I have, then you know that RTS is possible on controllers.

I have hand pain and want to minimise clicking the mouse but also want to play my favourite game. I was thinking of assigning desktop controls to WB3 through steam but wondering if anyone's figured out a better solution?

Edit: I've tried to set up steam controller desktop input but the game does not recognize the xbox controller. 0 input. Any way around this? I think GOG is interfering with the input somehow. The protectors mod on steam does have controller input.
