The new gameplay mechanics are tailored around the unique nature of the Chaos Space Marines faction. They can sacrifice their own population to please the Dark Gods and obtain their benevolence in the form of boons bestowed upon them. They can also benefit from the Dark Gods generosity to upgrade their units with powerful Marks of Chaos.
