Quite unplayable sadly... no idea why.... was working fine now its like i have 5 fps at best.

Only in enhanced edition do i have this problem... in the old school one it works just fine oddly? Still would like both to work properly if possible.

As far as I can tell the enhanced exe just runs through a DirectX wrapper made by GOG for the sole purpose of upscaling and letterboxing, but is unstable on modern Windows. You can achieve what the GOG wrapper was intended to do using the regular exe and this wrapper instead: github.com/FunkyFr3sh/cnc-ddraw

Drop it into your install folder and play. You can tweak the configuration by editing ddraw.ini in notepad or by using cnc-ddraw config.exe.

Have you managed to fix it? I also have this now OUT OF NOWHERE!!!

EDIT:
I have fixed the issue. I have reinstalled my graphics card driver (AMD) and it now works once again flawless.

Funny enough... it seems I still have the issue. Sometimes when I launch the game it does not have the issue, sometime it does have and no matter how many times I restart it.. the stuttering still won't go away. One day later, I launch the game it works again. I have no idea what causes the issue.
