I was able to get the GOG version of Warcraft II BNE working between two PC's without issue. I wasn't able to get a Mac running WarII BNE v2.0.2 to connect using either TCP/IP or IPX even with the MacIPX extension installed. I suspect they just aren't compatible because of the IPX wrapper that GOG has set up.

Have any of you tried getting PC's and Mac's to connect using War2 BNE?

I tried this, and Warcraft 2 runs fine under wine, except it still does not connect to the IPX network. The game doesn't recognize that there's an IPX network to connect to. I tried ipxconfig, and it looks like it's configured, but it never generates an ipxwrapper.log file. Does anyone have any other advice?

i have actually played it on mac but, i never tried multiplayer. i no longer have a mac however. though it likely does not support cross system play, unless you play in battle.net.
