In the GOG Galaxy app, I choose More -> Other -> Map Editor,but it asks for a CD. Anyone not having this problem? Anyone know a work arround? I was considering the map editor at war2.ru, but fearing it might only work with their version of the game.

Only one way to fix this: verify game files or reinstall + verify files.
If that not help - support ticket.

Offline version work perfect in single and multi. Map Editor work too.

I can confirm the ru map editor works with the GOG version, it is functionally the same it is just cracked.

For offline version MapEditor installed in .\Games "admin run" not required. If you install Galaxy (or offline version to Porgram Files), you must start Galaxy as admin same way as gog config\launcher\game exe for offline... Any path actually.

Thanks for all the replies and for taking my problem seriusly. I've tried all suggestions and the only thing that have worked for me is to use the war2.ru editor.

It is not cracked, map editor have no any CD checks. I'd say it just uses the properly configured registry.
War2ru map editor uses tome.* files rebuilt, just to reduce their size.

In the 'about' tab it does say 'Cracked by zzzKOTzzz', I believe I have the Ru version.
