I was trying to mess around with battle.net on WC2 from checking battle.net on Diablo 1. It says it requires a CD Key. I tried looking for it in the GOG game directory but couldn't find it. Where can I find the CD Key, or do I just contact support on GOG?

Connect to your account on GOG.com site then click on your account name in the top tool bar.
-> search in your games Warcraft 2 and click on it.
-> Click on the "More" button,
-> Click on Serial keys your key should be showing up in there.

You can now launch the keychanger program GOG Warcraft 2 installation ships with and enter that key in there.
This now will allow you to play Warcraft 2 online on battle.net when launching the classic version of the game.

Feel free to join our games whenever I go live on twitch I play every weekend! :-)

I see Warcraft II Battle.net edition in my GOG Library on Galaxy. Where would I find the "More" button?

Probably there is no CD Key in client. But there is More button next to launch button if you click Warcraft in library game list. Somewhere there you can download offline Backups, configure game (which one we to start from if there is few eg to skip WC2 Launcher). Although there probably no CD key maybe there is somewhere in current Galaxy a way to open game as account library page not "installed games" library and press More there.

Or just go to Account page on GOG with regular browser as said above
