Warbreeds has been working great for my on my Windows 11 laptop up until an update in Jan 2025. Does anyone know if Warbreeds broke for your Windows 11 in a recent update?

Warbreeds doesn't work on either of my Windows 11 machines anymore.

I"m going to try a few things like rolling back the Windows 11 update and trying Warbreeds out on my Windows 10 machine. Will update here later.

Rolling back the Windows 11 update worked. Here are my Windows 11 version specs now:

Edition: Windows 11 Home
Version: 23H2
OS build: 22631.4751
Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1055.0

Warbreeds works just fine now.

I had a little look at this. The compatibility library GoG ships with the game is out of date. If you download the latest version github.com/narzoul/DDrawCompat/releases/download/v0.6.0/DDrawCompat-v0.6.0.zip, extract ddraw.dll, copy it into your game folder (overwriting the one in there) then it should work
