When I bought this game it was largely because of the skirmish mode. Now I learn the it won't work unless you are connected to the online lobby. Since I play all my games offline, its useless for me. This seems a form of online drm. I purchase games on GOG because of the lack of such drm. The developer hasn't fixed this issue through numerous patches. I therefore ask for a store credit equal to the price of this game. Regards'

Hi Flyingsub.910,

I'm happy to confirm that this issue should be resolved in the upcoming Patch 2.0.5 which will be released next week. We'd love to hear whether this has been resolved once it becomes available to you.

I'm sorry it has taken so long for us to resolve this issue. Yesterday we had a bit of a breakthrough in finally replicating the issue internally and we managed to pin down the code at fault. The issue affected an extremely particular set of circumstances which could only be achieved in the Installer Version of the game when the computer was offline.

We shipped the Patch off to GOG on Monday night so I would expect the installer versions to become available by the end of the week. :)

Hi Ive purchased war for the overworld however it wont launch, the game logo comes up on screen but then nothing happens ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still same issue please can you advise what i need to do to get it working

Skirmish mode works fine now,and enjoying the new features. Glad I lived long enough to see them. :)
