I am using a 12 euro fake xbox controller and it works.
What is confusing me is, the game is up to local 4 players. But only seems to support 2 controllers or I am missing something. But in the menu you can assign only 2 controllers and 2 keyboard players. The setup of the controller in the game is very quick and easy.
