The Steam version has achievements, why weren't they added to the GOG version of the game?

they consider GOG as second class.
no achievements, not even updating the game on GOG so far. :/

Why can't you make your own achievements?
Like this:
- Shoot the robot 6 times
- Walk down a corridor undetected
- Have 20 items in your Inventory
- Sneak past 3 enemies without them seeing you
- Complete the game in 5 hours
There! Now the game has achievements.
