To play multiplayer or to just get the "GOG-exclusive Treasure Key content" the game asks that I first setup an online account (separate from the GOG Galaxy one). But, to do that I have to create a user name, password, and enter my "serial number". Where is my serial number?

go to your libarary click on more & you will find serial number their.

dont forget to put caps lock for 1 letter of password

Do not use Galaxy for your key. It's not there. Use web Gog, My account-Library-Click on Victor Vran- on view download page (default page) you will see your Treasure Key. Click on More and you will see your serial key. To redeem your gog treasure you have to use your serial key to create/login first, then in single player game, press esc-option-redeem key.

Well fudge, I was going to buy this game but I guess I will be skipping it now if it needs some online account shit with it. Thank you for this information.

You do not need to set up an online account if you want to play single player. You don't even have to run the game via Galaxy as you can download the offline installer, install the game, and play.

Yeah I noticed that, still if I wan´t to access the full functionality of the game (multiplayer) then I need said account. LANing ARPGs is fun and I much prefer setting up my own LAN to the limitations of online gameplay.

Be warned, if you play offline you will not get the treasure scrolls which give you unlimited number of side quests with rewards.

Hey, sorry for the necrobump but I THINK I may have figured out the potential problem.

I believe you have to include the dashes that separate every set of four character when creating the online account.

If any of you are still having trouble with it, please try this and reply if it was successful, this way we might be able to save future players some frustration.
